Unlock balcony door. Lift up if security door is tight.
IMMEDIATELY put key back into lock box
Padlock Keys on Hook on wall left of fridge.
Unlock all padlocks and IMMEDIATELY replace key on hook
Unlock Kitchen door from inside
Open Shutters and hook them into place
Leave lock right there—you won’t need the key to lock back up when you depart
Open water Valve (Apr 1 – Sept 1)
Located in green box near propane tank
Align Lower handle along pipe (90 degrees is shut, 0 degrees open.
Ensure faucet handle all the way counterclockwise
Gauge might spin but should stop after pressurizing
If not check for open faucet or leaks
BE SURE TO CLOSE VALVE WHEN LEAVING
Drink water from town or bottled water
Move patio furniture out
Sofa, 2 chairs, coffee and side tables
Check mouse traps—4 in kitchen: behind garbage, stove, left of fridge, back of lower shelf
Discard any critters and rebait and replace reusable traps
Turn on wall furnace if needed (see separate instructions)
Turn 3 water valves and 1 gas valve on (aligned with pipes)
Turn electric controller on

Get lighter ready. Open low panel. Find where pilot flame should be
Right upper part, under small curved metal hood
Push in and turn black knob counterclockwise to Pilot
Lighter on and while holding flame to pilot, press/pinch knob til pilot lit and hold for 1 min
Release knob. If pilot goes out—repeat above steps
If pilot stays lit—turn knob further counterclockwise to ON
TURN FURNACE OFF WHEN DEPARTING
Needs lighter to light—there is no pilot nor electric start
Light oven from below burner
Can use your cell phone in many cases
